Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Puerto Rico Golf & Beach Resort will not be accepting additional reservations through the end of November. The resort has relaxed its cancellation policies so guests with reservations through November can cancel or rebook for a later date without penalty.
Hyatt Place San Juan City Center is closed
El Conquistador Resort/Las Casitas Resort is open but not currently taking new reservations.
Hilton Ponce Golf & Casino Resort is open but not currently taking new reservations.
InterContinental San Juan will reopen Oct. 23.
La Concha Hotel, A Renaissance Resort is open, but not accepting new reservations until Nov. 30.
San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casinois is open, but not accepting new reservations until Oct. 31.
The Condado Plaza Hilton is open but not currently taking new reservations.
Sheraton San Juan Hotel & Casino is open, but not accepting new reservations until Dec. 1.
AC San Juan is open, but not accepting new reservations until Nov. 1.
The Rincon Beach Resort, Hyatt Place Manati, Wyndham Garden At Palmas Del Mar, Hyatt Residence Club Dorado are closed until further notice.
Alamanda Resort said on its Facebook page it “will be reopened for your next holidays in autumn 2018.”
Belmond La Samanna is currently assessing the extent of the damage. “Based on our assessment at this time, we do not anticipate that Belmond La Samanna will open until at least April 2018,” it said on Facebook.
La Playa’s website said it’s currently closed and assessing damage.
Beach Plaza reported severe damage.
Beachside Villas will be up and running by Nov. 1.
Belair Beach Hotel sustained damage and will take time to repair. Phone service and internet are down.
Esmeralda Resort said 70 percent of the property has been severely damaged.
Grand Case Beach Club suffered significant damage that will take some time to repair and rebuild, possibly up to a year to have the hotel back to normal.

La Playa Orient Bay was undergoing renovations prior to Irma and after sustaining severe damage from the storm its reopening is postponed until further notice.
Oyster Bay Beach Resort reported significant damage.
Riu Palace St. Martin’s infrastructure was severely affected.
Royal Islander Club said on Facebook “due to the significant damages that Hurricane Irma brought to our beloved friendly island, Royal Islander Club La Plage and La Terrasse will be closed through the end of 2017.”
Sea Palace Resort reported extensive damage and anticipates the hotel will remain closed for several months.
Sonesta Resorts Sint Maarten (Sonesta Maho Beach, Sonesta Ocean Point and Sonesta Great Bay) sustained severe damage. All further reservations from now through the end of 2017 have been cancelled.
Summit Resort Hotel will remain closed due to extensive damage.
Westin Dawn Beach suffered significant damage and is closed until further notice.
The Buccaneer advised guests who are scheduled to arrive before November to reschedule or cancel their tri, and hotel penalties may be waived.
Caravelle Hotel & Casino is operational, but is currently accommodating relief workers. The hotel will provide an update when it will be accepting additional guests.
Cottages by the Sea is waiting for electricity and water to be restored. Guests may assume that all future reservations after October 1, 2017, are secure unless advised otherwise. The property will contact guests if future reservations cannot be accommodated.
Divi Carina Bay Resort & Casino is closed until the end of the year.
Frederiksted Hotel reopened Sept. 13.
Hotel on the Cay is currently without power. Guests that have reservations for stays through Nov. 30 are asked to contact their booking source or the hotel’s reservations department.
The Palms at Pelican Cove is closed until further notice.
Renaissance St. Croix Carambola Beach Resort & Spa sustained damage and is not operating until further notice.
Sand Castle on the Beach is not accepting reservations until essential services are restored.
Caneel Bay will be closed for the 2017/2018 season.
Concordia Eco Resort is closed for the remainder of 2017 and 2018. When communications have resumed, the resort’s reservations team will contact travelers to refund deposits.
Estate Lindholm suffered some moderate damage. Guests with reservations for October are being advised to make other arrangements. The resort will reopen on Dec. 1.
Gallows Point Resort is currently being used to house relief workers. Management plans to be open for guests by Thanksgiving and fully operational by Christmas Eve. Guests who booked reservations before that time may reschedule or cancel their trip without penalty before Dec. 15.
Reservations for the Grande Bay Resort through Dec. 31 will be cancelled and full refunds processed for Grande Bay Resort & Residence Club guests only.
The Inn at Tamarind Court is closed while the property is in the process of rebuilding.
Bolongo Bay is currently housing guests in need and relief workers. The anticipated re-opening date is June 2018.
Bluebeard’s Castle Resort has sustained major damage, which is currently being assessed.
Emerald Beach Resort will not be taking hotel guests until mid-November.
Frenchman’s Reef & Morning Star Marriott Beach Resort is closed. Hotel cancellation and change fees for specific arrival dates may be waived.
Point Pleasant Resort has extended its closure and canceled all reservations through Dec. 15.
Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas is currently closed until Sept. 30, 2018. Hotel cancellation and change fees for specific arrival dates may be waived.
Secret Harbour Beach Resort is carrying out repairs and plans to reopen in full as soon as power and phone service are restored. Power restoration is estimated to occur in November.
Sugar Bay Resort & Spa is currently closed, but is working to reopen soon.
Windward Passage will be closed until further notice.
Wyndham Vacation Ownership properties Margaritaville Vacation Club, Bluebeard's Beach Club, and Elysian Beach Resort will be closed for the remainder of 2017.
Frangipani Beach Resort is closed for the season and is currently in the recovery mode. The resort is hoping to reopen in December 2017.
Belmond Cap Juluca is slated to reopen Nov. 18, 2018.
Four Seasons Resort & Residences Anguilla said on Facebook “we will not reopen before the end of 2017. Please know we are committed to opening as soon as possible in 2018.”
Oetker Collection’s Eden Rock – St Barths will reopen summer 2018, following repairs to damage caused by Hurricane Irma.
Hôtel Le Toiny St Barth and Hotel Le Toiny plan to reopen in November.
