Royalton Luxury Resorts announced this week its multi-million dollar expansion–five properties in Jamaica and St. Lucia–will be completed ahead of schedule. The development plan will double the Toronto-based company’s presence in Jamaica by 801 rooms and add 456 luxurious suites in Saint Lucia.
Originally set to debut in November, the Royalton Blue Waters in Montego Bay, Jamaica, will now open on Oct. 15. Located on the shores of White Bay, the 228-rooms offer balconies with either ocean views or private swim-out pools. The all-inclusive offers 11 upscale restaurants and bars, a lazy river, an onsite splash park, a spa, and a Kids Adventure Program that includes a supervised Clubhouse Kids Club and a Hangout Teens Club. Other amenities include free unlimited long-distance calls to North America and parts of Europe and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi for all devices. Guests looking for an elevated level of service can upgrade to Diamond Club, featuring access to an exclusive lounge, butler service and a private beach area with waiter service.
Also about a month ahead of schedule, the 352-room Royalton Saint Lucia, 407-room Royalton Negril and their adults-only Hideaways will open Jan. 15, 2017. Hideaway at Royalton is an adults-only oasis within a resort, offering daily water sports, fitness programs, yoga on the beach and mixology classes. It gives guests the privacy and exclusivity of an adults-only retreat with the option of going to the adjacent Royalton Luxury Resort’s facilities. In addition, guests staying at a Hideaway property receive concierge service, a custom Hideaway beach bag, in-suite aromatherapy, poolside Shiatsu/Thai massages and access to the adults-only beachfront, pool, bar and restaurant.
Royalton Luxury Resorts, a Blue Diamond Resorts brand, also operates properties in the Dominican Republic, Mexico and Cuba.
