The newest hotel from luxury hotel company Kempinski has officially opened its doors.

The David Kempinski Tel Aviv, the company’s 80th total property and first one in Israel, welcomed its first guests this week. The hotel is housed in a 34-story skyscraper in the heart of Tel Aviv’s “tayelet,” the area known as the city’s boardwalk with direct access to the beach.

In total, it offers 250 rooms and suites, including a triplex-penthouse suite, the largest of its kind in Tel Aviv, and a penthouse that includes two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a gym, dining room, and a private terrace with its own infinity pool.

For dining, the property offers five different kosher dining venues spread across multiple floors including the Sereia Restaurant, a high-end fish eater; the Sereia Lounge, which offers a health-driven menu that includes pastries; the Pool Bar, which offers light snacks overlooking the hotel’s infinity pool; and the Common Bar, a two-in-one bar concept that includes a Cohiba Atmosphere-branded cigar bar.

Cloud51, a dining bar venue on the rooftop’s private pool and lounge area, will launch at the hotel in July.

"With the opening of its 80th hotel and entry into one of the world's most exciting destinations, The David Kempinski Tel Aviv marks a new milestone for the brand,” the hotel’s general manager Guy Klaiman said.

“It combines the Kempinski ethos of heritage, impeccable service, leisurely luxury, and superb European hospitality with our distinctive warmth and innovation. Our goal is to build a community and serve as a home base for our guests, a place they will want to return to whenever they visit the city,” he added.

Israel, which remained closed through 2021, opened its doors to tourists, regardless of vaccination status, last month.
