JW Marriott Appoints Wellness Ambassador to Create Health and Well-Being Experiences
by Jessica Montevago /JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts have named Nora Tobin its Wellness Ambassador, partnering to create a series of wellness experiences rolling out throughout 2018. Tobin has created wellness programs and hosted numerous wellness events for premium brands and Fortune 500 companies.
JW Marriott hotels will offer a series of fitness videos ranging from Yoga to HIIT, accessible in-room on-demand at select properties as well as available to all JW Marriott guests on the brand’s website. Tobin also created an in-room menu of smoothies and juices, focusing on healthy benefits and essential nutrients to nourish overall well-being.
Marriott properties will offer an assortment of group wellness offerings as part of their meeting & events programming in 2018. In collaboration with JW Marriott culinary teams, properties will feature a collection of Nora Tobin “recommended” healthy and delicious menu items curated from JW Marriott Event Menus. Additionally, a series of well-being active meeting breaks and group activities, digitally led by Nora, will be available.
The program also includes well-being retreats hosted by Tobin, kicking off in January at JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, AZ. It will debut at four additional retreats slated to run through April 2018 at JW Marriott properties in Los Cabos, Austin, Desert Ridge and Marco Island, FL. The multi-day retreats include customized fitness coaching sessions, daily well-being seminars, and off-property excursions to luxury spa treatments and curated in-room amenities.
