Discover The Palm Beaches Launches Travel Advisor Training Portal
by Sarah Milner /Discover The Palm Beaches (DTPB), the marketing organization for Palm Beach County in Southeast Florida, has unveiled its first-ever online training program for travel advisors.
The Palm Beaches Travel Trade Portal is a platform designed to teach travel professionals about the region’s offerings. The online tool features modules covering tourist information for The Palm Beaches, such as history, geography, lodging, culinary delights, transportation options, events, tourist attractions, and more.
The portal is free to access and certification will be granted upon completion of the modules. Advisors can access The Palm Beaches Travel Trade Portal now.
The first 100 advisors to receive certification will be entered to win a two-night, three-day stay in The Palm Beaches for two people, including two round-trip airline tickets. The certification must be completed by June 30, 2024. The prize travel is to take place from July through the end of September, 2024.
“Travel advisors are tremendous ambassadors for our destination, and we’re hopeful they will find ‘The Palm Beaches Travel Trade Portal’ a valuable resource to help increase awareness of why we are a great place to visit,” said Milton Segarra, CDME, president and CEO of DTPB.
Last week, the DTPB launched its latest campaign, “The Palm Beaches Collection,” which emphasizes the rich diversity and unique offerings available across the destination’s 39 vibrant cities and towns. Aiming to redefine visitor expectations, The Palm Beaches Collection is part of a larger brand evolution for the destination.
“Our goal is to inspire everyone to curate their own collection for a perfect getaway,” said Segarra. “We take immense pride in the fact that our destination authentically caters to a variety of interests, ensuring a truly enriching experience for every visitor.”
