The Big Apple’s newest hotel is now open.

The Wall Street Hotel, located in Manhattan’s Financial District on the corner of Wall Street and Pearl Street, officially opened its doors on Wednesday, June 1.

The new boutique, luxury hotel comes from the Paspaley family, an Australian family that owns and runs companies inside and outside of the travel industry, including in pearling, viticulture, agriculture, and more. The family also owns ski lodgings in Aspen and the Pintada McAlpine House, a boutique hotel in Broome, Western Australia.

Nick Paspaley, Hotel Owner and Executive Chairman of Paspaley Group of Companies, said in a statement that “The Wall Street Hotel is a natural continuation of our family legacy, bringing 100-years of travel and trade, global cultural experience, adventure, and refinement to transform the historic Tontine Building into a new oasis of charm and comfort. A one-of-a-kind gem for New York’s famed financial district.”

The new Wall Street property was once an office building that has been transformed into a new hotel over the past couple of years. It offers 180 individually designed guest rooms and suites, ranging in size from king rooms to multi-bedroom suites that cater not just to business and corporate travelers, but also to couples and families. All rooms include custom furnishings, curated libraries, a handcrafted bar cart, and original artwork on the wall.

Outside of the guest rooms, the hotel offers a lobby lounge, rooftop ballroom, 24-hour fitness center, and new restaurant and bar concepts that have yet to be announced.
