Regent Seven Seas on Thursday announced that it was bringing back its travel advisor education platform, Regent University, with a brand new interface and four new courses.
The goal of the relaunch, Regent said, is to support its travel advisor partners and to allow them to get insight into the luxury brand. It also includes increased image and video content for advisors to use in their marketing.
“Regent Seven Seas Cruises is committed to supporting our travel advisors, each of whom serve a critical role within the industry as we prepare to sail again,” Regent EVP of sales and marketing Randall Soy said.
“We’ve enhanced our online Regent University to supply our travel advisors with a deeper understanding of the unrivaled Regent experience, providing them with a competitive advantage to sell our cruises more effectively and successfully,” he added.
The four new courses are: The Regent Experience, which introduces advisors to the brand; Worldwide Destinations, which dives into what regions Regent sails; Onboard Life, which centers on the brand’s onboard activities and offerings; and Selling Luxury, which goes over what Regent has available for advisors on the sales and marketing side.
Each course is no more than 30 minutes in length and is available on demand with the ability to stop, pause, and restart each session as advisors please. The courses also can be used to obtain CLIA credits, CEU’s from the Travel Institute, downloadable diplomas, and more.
To celebrate the relaunch. Regent is also offering a bonus commission structure for graduates that could earn them up to $650 extra if they complete all four new courses by the end of 2020.
