Obama Planning Month-Long Jaunt To South Pacific

by Jessica Montevago / March 27, 2017

Former President Barack Obama will travel to a private island in the South Pacific to work on his memoir.

Mr. Obama is planning an extended stay on Tetiaroa, an island once owned by Marlon Brando, according to the Washington Post. He will reportedly stay at The Brando, the ultra-luxurious and exclusive resort operated by The Brando estate. The eco-friendly property has 35 beachfront villas and holds a maximum number of 84 guests.

Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama have taken several vacations since leaving the White House, unwinding in Palm Springs, the Caribbean and Hawaii.
