Southwest Adds New Daily Flights to Mexico and the Caribbean
by Daniel McCarthy /Southwest Airlines is expanding its international schedule.
Starting on June 4, 2024, Southwest will fly daily service between Orlando, Fla., one of its hubs, and several new destinations in the Caribbean and Mexico—Cancun, Grand Cayman, Nassau, Providenciales, Punta Cana, and San José.
Those flights will join existing service out of Orlando to Aruba and Montenegro.
At the same time, Southwest is expanding service out of Burbank and Dallas Love Field, another one of its hubs.
Starting on June 4, 2024, Southwest, which is already the largest carrier serving Burbank, will add daily nonstop to Boise, Kansas City, New Orleans, San Antonio, and St. Louis.
And also starting on June 4, 2024, Southwest will fly Saturday-only service between Dallas and Buffalo, Fresno, Providence, and Spokane.
All the new flights are now open for booking.
