Globus Extends COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
by Jessica Montevago
The Globus family of brands – consisting of Globus, Cosmos, Avalon Waterways and Monograms – announced that it will extend its pre-trip Health & Safety Protocols, including requiring proof of full COVID-19 vaccination to join any vacation in its portfolio, for travel through March 2022.
“As part of the Globus family of brands’ commitment to ensuring sustainable, responsible travel across the globe, we are extending our requirement for travelers to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination into 2022,” said Scott Nisbet, CEO of the Globus family of brands. “By making this announcement now, we’re giving our guests time to plan accordingly, with the assurance to travel more freely in each destination. Our previous decision to require proof of vaccination for 2021 travel was very well-received.”
For the current policy – in place through March 2022 – all Globus, Cosmos, Avalon Waterways and Monograms travelers need to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination, completed at least 14-days prior to embarkation.
Moving forward, the Globus family of brands will advise all travelers of vaccine implications or changes with advance notice.
The Travel Corporation, which operates several tour operator brands, also recently announced it will be requiring quests to be fully vaccinated.
