Carnival’s New Ship Celebration to Include Largest Shopping Selection in its Fleet

When Carnival Cruise Line’s new ship Celebration debuts in November it will offer the “most expansive selection across the fleet,” with nine different retail collections.

The ship, which is set to debut from PortMiami, will offer some of Carnival’s signature retail options, including a Carnival-centric shop filled with merchandise celebrating the cruise line’s 50th anniversary. The shops will be spread across the ship’s six zones—The Gateway, 820 Biscayne, Celebration Central, Ultimate Playground, Summer Landing, and Lido.

“As retailers, we saw more opportunity to connect our merchandise with our onboard experiences, so for Carnival Celebration’s collections, we really kicked it up a notch,” said Jeremy Schiller, vice president of retail operations for Carnival Cruise Line.

“We know our guests want Carnival products, ship-name products, and products that remind them of where they’ve traveled to with us, and they will find all of that and much more on Celebration. We’re confident they’ll love our new offerings as much as our classics.”

Here are some of the offerings:

  • 305 Deco Celebration, another Carnival-centric shop, is named after the 920 Biscayne zone and the city where Carnival was founded 50 years ago (Miami). This store will offer merchandise, including beach totes, bucket hats, towels, and more, themed pastels and tropical colors from Miami.
  • Romero Britto will offer a Celebration-specific line of handbags, luggage tags, and passport holders designed by the Miami-based artist.
  • Holiday, a store operating for the first few months of Celebration’s service, with holiday offerings including ornaments, Christmas trees, and pajamas, never sold before by the cruise line.
  • Signature Hull, a new offering for Carnival that will offer backpacks, clothing, and other accessories in Carnival’s red, white, and blue color scheme.

Along with those, Carnival also said that it is debuting some other new concepts with partners Starboard Cruise Service and Effy Fine Jewelry around the ship.

Celebration is already one of the most highly-anticipated new ships of 2022 and Carnival has been slowly teasing some of what to expect onboard. Recently, it revealed details on the last zone, The Gateway, an all-new zone that pays homage to the process of getting to your Carnival cruise and exploring new destinations. The two-deck zone features design and décor inspired by what it calls the “grand terminals, transportation stations and departure points” around the world.

The heart of the zone will be a promenade off of which passengers will find bars, restaurants, and entertainment options.
