Emerald Waterways’ New Ship Will Sail the Mekong

by Daniel McCarthy  July 25, 2018
Emerald Waterways’ New Ship Will Sail the Mekong

Sailing the Mekong with Emerald Waterways.

The newest ship from Emerald Waterways will head to the Mekong River when it debuts in 2019.

Emerald Harmony, an 84-guest riverboat, will sail three different itineraries on the Mekong: the 13-night “Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap” sailing that includes time for Angkor Wat; the 17-night cruise tour called “Treasures & Temples of Vietnam”; and the 21-day “Grand Tour of Vietnam and Cambodia” that includes everything from the shorter tours plus Hoi An and Hue.

The ship will sail with Asian-inspired features, including Asian-inspired food at the ship’s main dining room, Reflections Restaurant, and at the ship’s Horizon Bar & Lounge.

Harmony will be built to dock inside the Ho Chi Minh City center, one of the only river ships to be able to do so. It will sail with 32 panorama balcony suites, four grand balconies, and two of Emerald’s owner’s suites.

Emerald’s fare includes all transfers, port charges, meals, beer and wine, bottled water, and WiFi.
