Norwegian Cruise Line Amends Final Payment Policies Due to Coronavirus
by Daniel McCarthy /As the travel industry battles it way through the coronavirus news cycle, Norwegian Cruise Line is making it easier for its guests to deal with cancellations and changing plans.
Norwegian today announced that it will now allow final payment for its June and July sailings up to 90 days prior to sailing and it will allow passengers to change their sailing to another cruise that departs on or before June 30. The cruise line will also allow name changes up to 45 days before sailing.
In a letter to its travel advisors partners announcing the new policy, Norwegian said that the move was made to help encourage consumers “to get out here and experience the world aboard the best vessels at sea.”
