When Wonder of the Seas is named this December in Port Canaveral, the godmother making the blessing will be someone Royal Caribbean found on TikTok. With Mother’s Day this weekend, the line launched a #SearchForWonderMom to find the perfect candidate.

“The role of a Godmother is an important and longstanding maritime tradition, and it began with naming prominent public figures to now recognizing everyday heroes like moms,” said Michael Bayley, president and CEO, Royal Caribbean International. “With a combination of brand-new adventures and signature favorites across entertainment, thrills, dining and nightlife, Wonder of the Seas is designed to inspire wonder and awe in children and travelers of all ages. Moms do just that and more day in and day out.”

Wonder’s Godmother will bless the ship during its naming ceremony in December, and she and her family will also set sail on an exclusive cruise to Perfect Day at CocoCay. At a time of her choice, the godmother and her family will also get to choose a seven-night sailing onboard the ship in the Ultimate Family Suite, with first-class air, three nights in a five-star hotel before the cruise and up to $1,000 in spending money.

In addition, four finalists can sail on seven-day cruise onboard Wonder of the Seas in a balcony stateroom with up to four guests.

Entry guidelines are as follows:

  • Users must follow @RoyalCaribbean on TikTok
  • Submissions must be posted on TikTok and share why their nominee would be the ideal Godmother for the world’s largest ship
  • Uploaded videos must use Royal Caribbean’s original #SearchForWonderMom contest audio track pinned on the cruise line’s profile
  • Entries must tag @RoyalCaribbean and include #SearchForWonderMom and #Contest hashtags

Users may submit their “Wonder Mom” of choice through Monday, May 16 (11:59 p.m. ET) and the winner will be announced on Royal Caribbean’s TikTok later this summer.
