Travel Market Report today is launching its Wellness Travel Outlook for 2020-2021, TMR’s guide to what is happening in one of the fastest-growing niches inside of the travel industry.
The Outlook, which is sponsored by Cunard, surveyed over 1,100 travel advisors about what is happening and trending within the world of wellness. And, according respondents, the niche is growing, especially as the world changes amid COVID-19.
Over 70% of respondents told TMR that their annual sales for wellness travel is likely to increase in 2021, whether it be spa vacations solely focused on wellness or adventure travel with some wellness component included.
Other findings include how much clients are spending on wellness travel, who are the clients making wellness a focus of their vacations, what’s the most popular wellness travel destinations, and more.
