Tenon Tours No Longer USTOA Member
by Jessica MontevagoTenon Tours, which specializes in vacation packages to Ireland, the United Kingdom, Italy and Iceland, has voluntarily resigned its USTOA membership.
“The current global situation we are all facing has required us to reevaluate our company’s immediate needs. Although we valued our membership immensely, we have regretfully decided to resign from USTOA and look forward to rejoining in the future,” said Bryan Lewis, president of Tenon Tours, in a statement.
As such, Tenon Tours no longer participates in the USTOA $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program that protects consumer payments up to $1 million if the company goes out of business.
Purchases of Tenon Tours products made between Feb. 5 and March 18, 2020 may be protected under the USTOA $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program. Client deposits and payments thereafter will not be covered by the USTOA program.
