The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park Debuts New Gastro Lounge

The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park has completed its year-long transformation. The reimagined luxury hotel has debuted a new all-day gastro lounge called Contour, as well as added wellness and fitness areas.

At the heart of the lobby's transformation, Contour has a sophisticated yet playful design of plush banquettes, marble accents, and New York-inspired artwork. A vibrant bar connects two lounge areas, where accents of marble, bronze, and gold are complemented by a bold Matisse sketch. The menu concept focuses on "For Us" and "For Me" plates, as well as handcrafted classic cocktails with seasonal infusions.

The mezzanine level of the property has undergone a design transformation. The Fitness Center features brand new Technogym equipment and weights. It is complemented by the Movement Studio, featuring virtual fitness classes by FitnessOnDemand, which delivers high-quality media and programming. Additional amenities enhancing guest's wellness routines include Peloton bikes, a Concept2 Rower, and a full-length ballet bar.

These offerings join the hotel's redesigned Club Lounge, La Prairie Spa, and guest rooms and suites, which were recently honored with the 2019 World's Best Rooms accolade from Forbes Travel Guide.
