When Explora Journeys enters the Alaskan market in 2027 it will do so with a collection of pre- and post-cruise tours that range from three to five nights.

“These Destination Immersions reflect our commitment to offering immersive luxury travel that extend beyond the ship,” said Anna Nash, president of Explora Journeys. “They allow our guests to explore in greater depth, with intention and authenticity, and to connect more profoundly with the places they visit.”

Nash added that the journeys are “designed to complement and elevate the overall Explora Journeys experience – seamlessly blending land and sea into one continuous, meaningful narrative.”

Explora Journeys’ Alaska Land Program

Two pre- and/or post-cruise tours will be available from Seward. The three-night Alaska Immersion option will take guests to Anchorage, Denali, and Talkeetna via a combination of deluxe dome rail and motorcoach. The four-night Alaskan Adventure will visit Fairbanks, Denali, and Girdwood and include two nights at Denali.

Explora Journeys’ Canadian Rockies Land Program

For cruisers embarking or disembarking in Vancouver, Explora Journeys will offer two five-night options onboard the iconic Rocky Mountaineer in Goldleaf class.

Pre-journey, guests will travel westbound from Calgary to Vancouver, with highlights that include Banff National Park, a gondola ride over Sulphur Mountain, a half-day in Vancouver, and more. Post-cruise, guests will go from Vancouver to Calgary, with the same highlights included.
