AmaWaterways is hoping to give its travel advisor partners and their clients more peace of mind when booking 2021 sailings.

The river cruise line recently announced that it would be offerings an “Ultimate Cruise Flexibility” program for 2021 sailings in Europe and Asia. The program is available for those sailings booked by the end of January 2021 and will allow guests to reschedule their river cruise, for any sailing through 2023, up to 48 hours prior to departure without any added fees.

For those who also booked land portions through AmaWaterways, the line is offering a Travel Waiver Plus for $175 that will cancel any cancelations up to 24 hours prior to the start of their trip.

“There is so much joy that comes with planning future vacations, and we know that our travel partners and their clients are prioritizing flexibility and peace of mind more than ever in today’s landscape,” AmaWaterways’ Kristin Karst said in a statement announcing the news.

“Our new, temporary Ultimate Cruise Flexibility was designed to ensure travelers feel confident about reserving their next river cruise and get excited about the many breathtaking experiences waiting to be discovered on the world’s rivers.”

Karst went on to say that AmaWaterways does expect international travel to start rebounding in 2021 and, with possible capacity limits and many bookings already pushed from this year to 2021, “we want to ensure our guests are comfortable in reserving early in order to get their favorite ship and stateroom to celebrate all those dearly missed 2020 occasions.”
