Disney Cruise Line has extended the suspension of Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Magic departures through May 17.
Disney Cruise Line is offering guests the choice of a 125% future cruise credit to be used for a future sailing within 15 months of their original sail date, or a full refund.
Guests who moved their sail date between April 29 and May 17, 2020 due to concerns about COVID-19, will also receive an additional future cruise credit of 25% of the original voyage fare to use toward the reservation they modified.
However, guests who previously received a future cruise credit are not eligible for an additional future cruise credit.
Once the modified reservation is paid in full, any remaining future cruise credit will be applied to their shipboard account as a non-refundable onboard credit.
Clients who cancelled their reservation during the same time frame, Disney Cruise Line is automatically refunding any cancellation fees that may have been charged. This refund will be processed back to the original form of payment, but may be delayed due to the high volume.
Disney Wonder bookings that were moved or cancelled between Jan. 30 and April 5, 2020 for sailings that were scheduled to depart between April 29 and June 30, 2020 will receive an additional future cruise credit equal to 25% of the client’s original voyage fare.
Commission on these reservations will be protected following Disney Cruise Line’s standard policy (50%, 75% or 100% of the voyage fare) and is based on when the booking cancelled. If the reservation is moved to a new sail date or hold date, commission is protected at 100%.
Updates on Embarkation and Sailing Date Policy Changes
Travel agents with guests currently booked on European cruises through a July 25, 2020 departure date can change their guests’ reservation up until the day before the guests’ embarkation and the guests will receive a 100% cruise credit to be used for a future sailing within 15 months of their original sail date. The credit is non-refundable and standard prevailing rates will apply.
Alternatively, guests currently booked on the July 13, July 18 and July 25 European sailings in 2020 may delay their final payment to 30 days prior to the sailing.
