Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Extends Cruise Cancellations through April

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. announced on Tuesday that it was extending its global cruise suspension through April 30 for all cruises on its Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises brands.
The cruise operator had previously suspended all cruises through Feb. 28, and select cruises through March 31.
Norwegian now joins Royal Caribbean Group in suspending cruises until May 1, as lines “continues to work through its return-to-service plan to meet the requirements of the Framework for Conditional Sailing Order issued by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).”
Norwegian said in a statement that it will continue to work with global government and public health authorities and its Healthy Sail Panel expert advisors to take all necessary measures to protect its guests and crew.
Guests who had an active NCL reservation on a suspended cruise in April 2021 will automatically receive a refund of their cruise fare in the original form of payment for the amount paid by Feb. 22, 2021.
Additionally, a 10% off coupon will be automatically added to the guest’s account by Jan. 20 which is valid for one year from date of issue, and can be used for any Norwegian Cruise Line voyage embarking through 2022 and is combinable with any Future Cruise Credits and all future promotions at time of booking.
For affected reservations paid via a previously issued Future Cruise Credit, the full value of the FCC used will automatically be re-applied to the guest’s Latitudes account within seven days.
Refunds for previously announced suspensions of cruises embarking in March 2021 will be completed by Feb 2, 2021.
Oceania and Regent guests with active bookings will receive a 100% refund for amounts paid for voyages. Refunds will be processed automatically within 60 day.
Reservation that have been deposited or paid in full utilizing a previously issued Future Cruise Credit, a FCC will be re-issued for the amount that was applied.
