American Cruise Line (ACL) is planning its “biggest season ever” on the Mississippi River in 2021 with two new riverboats, new itineraries, and new shore excursions.

ACL’s 2021 on the Mississippi will be headlined by the debuts of American Jazz and American Melody, two new modern riverboats, both built specifically to sail the river. American Melody was just recently rolled out last week, and is currently at the Chesapeake Shipbuilding yard on the Wicomico River.

American Jazz, which was delivered to ACL last month, features staterooms will range from 250 to 650 square feet, all featuring full size sliding glass doors and private furnished balconies.

Along with those debuts, ACL will also add to its itinerary offerings with a new 8-day Music City cruise between Memphis and Nashville; along with new itineraries on the Tennessee, Ohio, and Cumberland Rivers, sailing in July, August and September, aboard American Jazz.

The 2021 season wraps up with a set of holiday sailings, including a Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s cruise on the Mississippi.

The new slate of sailings include access to 15 new shore excursions, all with 100% private transportation, along with new enrichment programs onboard and onshore.
