American Cruise Lines Welcomes Third New Cruise Ship this Year

American Cruise Lines welcomed its third new cruise ship this year with the christening celebration of American Ranger on the Hudson River last week.
American Ranger, the cruise line’s fourth Patriot Class ship, accommodates 130 guests in all balcony-staterooms, including a selection of suites and singles. The ship also offers a top deck lounge with walking track, a main restaurant and casual café, a fitness center, laundry room, and more.
“Today, American Ranger assumes the mantle as the newest cruise ship in the country, but won’t hold the title for long, as she will be quickly followed by three more new ships launching in 2027,” said Charles B. Robertson, president and CEO of American Cruise Lines.
Next year, American will introduce two more sister ships to American Ranger, American Mariner and American Navigator, as well as another modern riverboat, American Anthem.
American Ranger operates on the cruise line’s Hudson River cruises, sailing between New York City and Albany, NY, with stops at Catskill, West Point, Sleepy Hollow, and Kingston/Hyde Park.
