Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Millennium has officially rejoined the Celebrity fleet after a major renovation that saw the ship’s staterooms, restaurants, spa, and more undergo a complete renovation.

The renovations are part of Celebrity Cruises’ plan to reimagine and refresh its entire fleet with a $500 million plus investment called Celebrity Revolution.

New features on the Millennium include the Retreat Sundeck and Retreat Lounge for its suite guests; eXhale bedding with cashmere mattresses in all rooms; all-new finishes and fixtures in stateroom cabins; and the RFID lock-enabled digital key access that debuted on Celebrity Edge last year.

A total of 30 staterooms have been added — 13 AquaClass, 10 inside cabins, and seven new oceanview staterooms — along with a new suite design by famed designer Kelly Hoppen.

For dining, the Millennium now features an upgraded main restaurant and Oceanview Café, both with increased seating. There is also a redesigned Sunset Bar and Rendezvous Lounge.

For other public spaces, Millennium guests will now have the opportunity to use Celebrity’s Xcelerate WiFi; get personal training and consultations in a semi-private area in the ship’s gym; spend time in a redesigned Casino that includes a new bar and new state-of-the-art slot machines; and experience an enhanced Art Gallery and Photo Gallery.

The ship will return with a wellness-focused salon that includes a blow dry bar and luxury manicures and pedicures.

“This is such an exciting moment for us as we finally get to share the new Celebrity Millennium with the world,” said Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, president and CEO, Celebrity Cruises. “She has been transformed from top to bottom. I want to share my deepest gratitude with the teams who have worked so hard to make this happen, and I can’t wait for our guests to experience this revolution in travel for themselves.”

Seven more of the line’s ships will get similar additions by 2023 through the Celebrity Revolution program.
