Crystal Cruises To Build Five River Yachts, Announces 2018 Voyages

November 02, 2015

Crystal Cruises will acquire five luxury river yachts—three more than previously announced—and will be launching its first ultra-luxury river vessel starting next year, a full year ahead of schedule. Four yachts are scheduled for delivery in 2017 and the fifth one, a newly designed vessel called the Crystal Mozart, will make its maiden voyage on the Danube River on July 13, 2016.

The company also announced it will sail four World Cruise itineraries for 2018, the cruise company announced. The World Cruises are set for the Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity, plus the company’s new luxury yacht, the Crystal Esprit.

The 2018 schedule includes a two-night stay in Monte Carlo for the Monaco Grand Prix and four dedicated Alaska voyages on the Crystal Symphony. The company is also offering maiden calls from remote islands, like Norfolk and Fakarava, for the first time in its history. The full list is available on the Crystal Cruise website.
