To make its commission payment process simpler for travel advisors in the U.S. and Canada, Explora Journeys is switching to Paymode, a B2B system used by several other cruise lines, including MSC Cruises.

With the new partnership, Explora Journeys will streamline its commission payments by eliminating the need for costly wire transfers from its home office in Switzerland.

“Explora Journeys is committed to delivering exceptional travel experiences while prioritizing efficiency and innovation in our operations,” said Chris Austin, president, North America at Explora Journeys. “Our partnership with Bottomline Technologies and Paymode represents a significant step forward in achieving these goals. By harnessing Paymode’s advanced payment capabilities, we can streamline our payment processes and provide our partners with a seamless and secure experience.”

According to Explora Journeys the system not only automates commission invoicing and facilitates easier electronic payments, it also provides security against fraud and cyber threats, and reporting tools that can help agency owners manage their payment cycles and improve cash flow management.

Agencies that have bookings in place with Explora Journeys should have already heard from the cruise line with instructions on how to switch over to Paymode.
