Hot Air Balloon Rides from the Strand Cruise
To promote its two maiden voyages, which will sail on Burma’s Ayeyarwady River over Christmas and New Year’s, the Strand Cruise is offering free hot air balloon rides over the ancient temple site in Bagan to its first 10 customers.
In addition, all 54 guests on the Bagan-to-Mandalay cruises will get a free Christmas Day gala dinner or New Year’s Eve party.
The four-night voyages, scheduled to depart on December 22 and 29, 2015, start at $3,592 per person, with one complementary companion in each cabin.
The luxury river cruise company is owned by Hotels G, a branch of Asia-based GCP Hospitality.
