Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection Releases Inaugural Itineraries
by Daniel McCarthy /Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, the newest entry into the world of luxury cruising, has released the itineraries for its first full season in 2020 and they include sailings to almost all corners of the world.
Caribbean
The line will open up its inaugural Caribbean season with a five-night, round-trip sailing from Fort Lauderdale (Feb. 1, 2020); a 10-night Fort Lauderdale to Barbados sailing (Feb. 5); a seven-night Barbados to Cartagena sailing (Feb. 15); and a 7-night Cartagena to Barbados sailing (Feb. 22). During the rest of the season, the line will journey to St. Lucia, San Juan, St. Maarten, Cozumel, and more.
Mediterranean
From the Caribbean, the line will sail a transatlantic, 12-night itinerary from Barbados to Lisbon before kicking off its European season with an eight-night Lisbon to Palma de Mallorca sailing on Apr. 9, 2020. From there, Ritz-Carlton will sail seven-nights Valletta to Athens on Apr. 26; seven-nights Athens to Venice on May 3; 11-nights Venice to Rome on May 10; and an eight-night roundtrip to Rome on May 21.
The rest of the season rounds out with sailings from Barcelona to Palma de Mallorca; Palma de Mallorca to Lisbon; and Lisbon to Bordeaux.
Northern Europe
On July 5, the line will kick off its Northern Europe season with a nine-night Bordeaux to London sailing. From there it will sail a nine-night sailing from London to Hamburg on July 14; a seven-night Hamburg to Copenhagen sailing on July 23; and a 10-night Copenhagen to Stockholm on Aug 9.
Then, it will head back to Copenhagen and journey to Edinburgh, Reykjavik, and Halifax.
Canada and New England
The line will wrap up its inaugural year with a season in Canada and New England, starting in Halifax before sailing a 7-night itinerary to Boston on Sept. 26. It will then sail a 12-night itinerary to Montreal on Oct. 3; a 12-night itinerary back to Boston on Oct. 15; and a nine-night Boston to Nassau sailing on Oct. 27.
The first, yet-to-be named vessel of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection will go on sale for individual bookings in May with an inaugural voyage in February 2020 and two more ships expected to sail within 24 months of its debut.

Travel agent commissions start at 10 percent and will range up to 16 percent with groups and full-ship charters counting towards revenue goals.
