Royal Caribbean Group to Launch New Set of Credit Cards
by Dori Saltzman
Royal Caribbean Group has partnered with Bank of America to launch two credit cards that earn points across all three of the company’s brands.
The new Royal ONE Visa and Royal ONE Plus Visa cards enable guests to earn and redeem rewards on any of the Group’s brands – Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and Silversea Cruises – giving cruisers the flexibility to use a single rewards balance seamlessly across the three brands. Points can be redeemed for cruise savings, as well as experiences such as specialty dining, shore excursions, Wi-Fi, and more.
According to Royal Caribbean, what sets the cards apart from the cruise line’s previous card offers is how they fit into the company’s broader loyalty ecosystem. The new cards make it easier to earn rewards year-round and apply them to future trips.
“Royal ONE and Royal ONE Plus strengthen how we recognize and reward our loyal guests across our leading vacation brands,” said Jason Liberty, chairman and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group. “These new cards bring together the ways our guests vacation across Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and Silversea – making it easier to earn and use rewards, so every trip delivers greater value and more meaningful experiences.”
Issued in partnership with Bank of America and Visa, the cards include both a no‑annual‑fee option and a $99 version for frequent cruisers, giving travelers flexibility whether they’re planning a once‑a‑year trip or multiple sailings.
