Royal Caribbean is reinforcing its commitment to Galveston with the redeployment of Icon of the Seas to Galveston in August 2027. Icon will be one of three Royal Caribbean ships sailing from the Texas port, and the biggest ship from any cruise line.

Starting in August 2027, Icon of the Seas will offer six- to eight-night Eastern and Western Caribbean getaways, all of which include Perfect Day at CocoCay. Beginning in April 2027, Liberty of the Seas will offer four- to eight-night itineraries to ports such as Roatan and Costa Maya. Also starting in April 2027, Symphony of the Seas will offer four- to eight-night Western Caribbean and Bahamas sailings.

In addition to its 2027/28 Galveston deployment, Royal Caribbean also revealed itineraries from Los Angeles and the East Coast.

Royal Caribbean will continue offering a Quantum-class ship out of L.A. with Ovation of the Seas sailing short three- and four-night getaways to destinations like Ensenada and Catalina Island. Navigator of the Seas will offer seven-night vacations to the Mexican Riviera.

From the Northeast’s Cape Liberty, Oasis of the Seas will offer seven-night getaways to The Bahamas, Odyssey of the Seas will sail seven- to 12-night vacations to the Caribbean, and Independence of the Seas will offer four- to nine-night getaways to Bermuda, Canada & New England, and the Eastern Caribbean. In the summer, Vision of the Seas will sail five- and nine-night vacations from Baltimore, followed by nine-night vacations to Canada & New England in the fall.

Bookings open to the general public on Nov. 13, 2025.
