Scenic Group has appointed Marilyn Cairo as vice president of sales and trade relations for the U.S. and Latin America, and Nicole (Nico) Shrem as key and national accounts manager, also for the U.S. and Latin America.
Scenic’s managing director for the USA Ken Muskat announced the hirings on his social media.
The appointments come, he said, “at a critical time as Scenic Group embarks on our largest expansion in new ships and new destinations in our 40-year history.”
Cairo brings more than 30 years of experience in the luxury travel and hospitality industries to the job. She joins Scenic from Classic Vacations, where she spent nine years, most recently serving as vice president of sales.
“In this role, she strengthened relationships with leading host agencies, consortia, and travel advisors, while expanding opportunities across both FIT and group travel,” Muskat wrote of Cairo.
Shrem joins Scenic Group from Royal Caribbean International’s national accounts department where she served as account executive and earned the 2025 Account Executive of the Year award.
