Star Clippers promoted Cyndi Denman to the position of director of sales, while also welcoming Sheryll Pyle to the sales team as business development executive for the southeast region.
Denman will be responsible for building Star Clippers’ overall business by working with the cruise line’s strategic partners and accounts, as well as growing charter sales and increasing the account base. Simultaneously, the line has hired Sheryll Pyle to replace Denman in the role of business development executive for the southeast region.
“Cyndi has been with us for more than nine years and has been instrumental in our continued growth in the North American market,” said Terri Haas, Star Clippers’ vice president of sales and marketing. “I have known Cyndi for many years, and she brings extensive industry knowledge to her new role. We have complete confidence in her ability to expand our strategic partnerships and grow both our charter sales and add new travel advisor relationships to our extensive roster.”
Denman has more than 25 years of experience in the travel industry. Prior to joining Star Clippers, she has held various positions with Continental Airlines, Air Jamaica, Pleasant Holidays, Costa Cruises, PONANT, and UnCruise Adventures.
Pyle started her career in travel as a front-line travel advisor more than 20 years ago. She has since worked inside with Gogo Worldwide Vacations and Dube Travel Leaders. In her new role, she is responsible for Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Mississippi, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Washington D.C., West Virginia, and Tennessee. She is based in Texas and can be reached at Sheryll.Pyle@starclippers.com.
