Virgin Voyages Reveals New Itineraries for Valiant Lady

Virgin Voyages Reveals New Itineraries for Valiant Lady

Virgin Voyages is hosting a virtual cruise event.

Virgin Voyages has revealed a series of three new itineraries for Valiant Lady after the ship makes its debut in the UK before heading to the Med in the summer of 2022.

It will be a six-month delay in the ship’s scheduled launch, which was delivered to Virgin last week at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy. All sailings previously scheduled to depart between November 14, 2021 and March 2022 have been canceled.

Setting sail from Portsmouth, England in 2022, Valiant Lady will sail on a series of three new itineraries, including a mix of 3-night, 11-night and 12-night voyages.

Itineraries sailing from the UK will visit cities in Europe, including late-night and overnight stays in Málaga, Palma de Mallorca, the Canary Islands, Lisbon and Belgium

The new itineraries include: Long Weekender in Zeebrugge (3-night), Coast the Canary Islands, Spain, & Portugal (11-night); Late Nights in Portugal and Spain (12-night).

Virgin Voyages is offering their “First Mates” travel advisor partners the opportunity to pre-register clients for Valiant Lady’s inaugural voyages. Valiant Lady’s new pre-summer voyages will officially be up for sale on July, 21, 2021.

The announcement comes as the the Richard Branson-backed cruise line again delayed its sailing from the U.S., cancelling all sailings from Miami scheduled for late September and early October on Scarlet Lady. It marks the sixth time it has postponed the inaugural sailing from its Florida homeport.

Virgin Voyages now plans to have Scarlet Lady sail from PortMiami on Oct. 6.

Scarlet Lady will offer a few sailings from England this summer, which are only available to residents of the U.K.

Virgin Voyages debut is highly anticipated thanks its disruptive-take on the cruise experience. It promises a buffet-free environment, with a choice of up to 20 dining options, and dance parties, DJ sets, and late-night dodgeball.
