More interesting are the other cities in the Top 10 of WalletHub’s 2015’s Best & Worst Cities to Celebrate New Year’s Eve:San Francisco, Atlanta, San Diego, Scottsdale, Minneapolis, Portland, Cincinnati, Las Vegas, and Honolulu.
WalletHub measured the 100 most populated U.S. cities across 17 key metrics, including the legality of fireworks, the average price of a party ticket, and the weather forecast for New Year’s Eve.
Interestingly, a few miles mean a lot on the big night. At the bottom end of the list, the worst four cities for singing Auld Lang Syne are just an Uber ride away from some of the hottest spots. Numbers 96 to 100 are: Hialeah, Jersey City, Newark, and North Las Vegas.
And no, you can’t have it all, Phoenix, Indianapolis, and Scottsdale are the most affordable cities; Lincoln, Laredo, and Reno are safest. Party on.
