Virgin Voyages’ Brilliant Lady Set to Shine With New Dining Concepts, Shows and Itineraries

Virgin Voyages’ Brilliant Lady Set to Shine With New Dining Concepts, Shows and Itineraries

There are less than six months until the launch of Virgin Voyages’ newest lady ship, Brilliant Lady. As we draw closer to her debut in September from New York, details have emerged about the next phase of dining, entertainment, and destinations that can be found onboard and in port.

Curious clients will want to know everything there is to see, do, and taste when they embark on Virgin’s latest vessel —especially what’s novel and different. Be the first to spread the good word that Brilliant Lady will dazzle Sailors (repeat and new) in more ways than one. The following are just a few of the features that will set this Lady apart when she sets sail this fall.

Seven New and Original Productions Onboard

Virgin Voyages has established itself as an innovator of onboard entertainment with roots in the industry — a la Virgin Records — and plenty of high-power creatives at work developing concepts like “Duel Reality,” or Romeo & Juliet staged against a circus. So, it follows that Brilliant Lady will be no different, showcasing an evolution of Virgin’s unique and immersive brand of staging and storytelling. Notably, feedback from thousands of Sailors heavily influenced the development of several new and original shows that will incorporate more comedy, more music and a progressive storyline that follows guests onboard throughout their cruise. Considering a loyal fan base and a high repeat rate, Virgin Voyages is dedicated to keeping the fun onboard fresh, which includes seven shows and events that will be exclusive only to Brilliant Lady.

If your Sailors are craving high-concept entertainment, Virgin Voyage’s kid-free atmosphere allows its Happenings Cast (Virgin’s take on a Cruise Director) the ability to engage their audience in ways you likely won’t find on other ships. The following are a brief overview of the thrilling theatrics in store for clients booked on Brilliant Lady:

▪ Red Hot: Cherry-picking inspiration from five decades of popular music, this show — taking place in the Red Room (ship’s theater) — will draw upon the extensive Virgin Records catalog to transport Sailors to a jukebox jamboree, courtesy of larger-than-life founder Richard Branson.

▪ Out of Time: Also taking place in the theater, this “time-traveling comedy” will have it all: laughs, acrobatics, live music, flappers, and plenty of production value (No Ceilings Entertainment is in collaboration, producing everything from elaborate cabarets to NBA final halftime shows).

▪ Up With a Twist: As part of an ongoing Supper Club series fleetwide, this adventurous, Roaring ‘20s cabaret show serves up immersive dinner theater like you’ve never seen before.

▪ Murder in the Manor: Blend the popular genre of true crime with a dash of campy ‘80s horror and you have a unique twist on murder mystery theater (which actually takes place in The Manor, the ship’s nightclub).

▪ Duets: Why center on the star power of a single performer when you can amplify it by two? That’s the idea behind this nightclub performance, which presents the music of iconic duos spanning musical genres from Motown to contemporary hits.

▪ Electric: This event, which takes place in The Manor, invites Sailors to get electric on the dance floor with the help of UV light. Once the club is aglow in neon, everyone is invited to boogie on down in their brights — face paint provided.

▪ Disco Reimagined: Disco never died, and that fact is clear during this 90-minute disco inferno, blending circus acts with dance breaks and copious fringe.

Scarlet Night Red Room Glow Up: Reimagined for itineraries with colder temps (i.e. Alaska) the festivities of Scarlet Night, Virgin’s signature onboard event, receive an update, including a move indoors on Brilliant Lady — though the energy promises to stay at an all-time high.

Authentic Spanish tapas, Dynamic Dinner Theater and More

Razzle Dazzle, a casual onboard staple serving a variety of comforting cuisines, is now taking Sailors to Spain by night. At Rojo by Razzle Dazzle, debuting onboard Brilliant Lady, your clients will find the flamboyant flavors of Spanish food and wine await them once the sun sets. This includes small plates and bar snacks — tapas and pintxos, respectively — as well as a regional wine list and cocktail program. (Ever tried a vermouth spritz? Now’s your chance.)

Fan favorite restaurants including Extra Virgin (Italian) and Gunbae (Korean barbecue) will sail intact, but with exciting updates. This also includes an all-new menu at The Dock, an alfresco restaurant and lounge offering Mediterranean drinks and bites.

As previously mentioned, Up With a Twist is the new dinner theater show debuting onboard Brilliant Lady. Blending vintage, 1920s influences with modern elegance, this decadent dining and entertainment experience will take place in The Manor and is just another option in the more than 20 culinary offerings onboard —all included in the fare. Sailors who enter “Lady Valentina’s Emporium of Excess” can expect a glamorous, musical cabaret with live music and theatrics that incorporate real-time feedback for a surprising, nightly encore.

Winter Voyages Will Span Four to 12 Nights in the Caribbean

Virgin Voyages has always been keen to accommodate both the weekend getaway crowd and travelers who crave a longer escape. In this vein, itineraries for winter 2026/2027 have been announced for all four lady ships and will include four-night cruises from Miami — with a full day spent at the line’s Beach Club in Bimini — as well as 12-night sailings to more exotic ports in the Caribbean. No matter the length, these voyages promise to slather on the sunshine and keep the good vibrations going.

Clients can choose from longer offerings like nine nights visiting the idyllic shores of the Turk & Caicos; St. Kitts & Nevis; Antigua; and San Juan, Puerto Rico, or opt to sail over the holidays for an added dose of seafaring cheer.
