Air Canada Vacations Welcomes Back Montagnese

June 02, 2016

Nino Montagnese has returned to Air Canada Vacations as managing director of sun markets, effective immediately.

Montagnese will have executive responsibility for the design and delivery of the integrated commercial plan in support of Air Canada Vacations’s sun markets, while providing leadership to the sales, marketing, and product teams. He will report directly to Craig Landry, president of Air Canada Leisure Group.

Montagnese previously worked at Air Canada Vacations for over 12 years, where he last served as vice president of sales and marketing. He most recently worked at Travel Brands as senior vice president of sales and marketing.

Air Canada Vacations also appointed  George Platanitis to the new role of vice president of sales and partnerships, effectively immediately, where he’ll be responsible for the company’s overall sales and distribution strategy, and for developing relationships with the travel trade and with industry partners. Platanitis joined Air Canada Vacations in January 2015 as vice president of marketing and E-commerce. He will report to Montagnese.
