Berkshire Hathaway Acquires Insure America LLC

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance agreed to purchase assets from Noel Group that include Insure America LLC. Insure America provides professional liability insurance and errors and omissions (E&O) coverage for retail travel agents, as well as E&O coverage for tour operators. The purchase agreement also includes the assets of MyAssist Inc., a technology-driven cloud-based service that provides global personal assistance to customers, including travelers. Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance is a division of Berkshire Hathaway Inc., whose CEO is Warren Buffett.
