CLIA’s Christine Duffy Named President of Carnival Cruise Line

In an email message to travel professionals, Carnival Corp. CEO Arnold Donald announced that CLIA president Christine Duffy has been named president of Carnival Cruise Line. Duffy, a 30 year veteran of the travel industry, has been president of CLIA since early 2011, when she replaced Terry Dale. Her departure from CLIA follows news that the organization will close its Fort Lauderdale headquarters and streamline its staff in 2015. Duffy will assume her new role on Feb. 1, 2015.
