Delta to launch West Coast shuttle operation
Delta Air Lines will launch an hourly Delta Shuttle service between Los Angeles and San Francisco airports on Sept. 3, with 14 daily flights tailored to business travelers.
Flights will depart on the hour beginning at 7 a.m. Monday through Friday and will be operated by Compass Airlines, a Delta Connection partner, using 76-seat E-175 aircraft equipped with Wi-Fi. The aircraft will have first-class, Economy Comfort and economy sections.
Delta Shuttle will offer check-in up to 30 minutes before departure, dedicated check-in counters, gates located near security, assigned seating and complimentary newspapers, snacks and beverages, including beer and wine, in all classes of service. Cocktails will be available for purchase in economy.
