Garfield Retires as Walt Disney Travel Co. Prez
Randy Garfield, president of the Walt Disney Travel Company, will retire in April following 20 years with the company. Garfield also served as executive vice president of worldwide sales and travel operations for Disney Destinations. He has been leading the sales and distribution marketing operation for Disney theme parks worldwide, the Disney Vacation Club and Disney Event Group. Before joining Disney, Garfield served in marketing and sales management positions at TWA and Universal Studios. He is also an executive committee member of the US Travel Association (USTA) and a member of Brand USA’s board of directors. Disney has not yet announced a replacement.
