The Global Business Travel Association filed a comment on the Department of Transportation’s Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPRM) Use of Mobile Wireless Devices for Voice Calls on Aircraft. Based on feedback from members, the GBTA stated that the use of cell phones for voice calls “is detrimental to business travelers” and should remain banned.
