Report: Americans Taking More Vacations

The consumer research firm Mintel predicted that vacation spending will grow by 27% between 2013 and 2018, while total consumer spending will increase 20% over the same period. Just 30% of respondents said they were spending less on upcoming vacations when compared to previous vacations, a decrease from 41% last year.
