Travelport launched its initial public offering on Sept. 25 with a price of $16 per share, the top of the $14 to $16 range it had set. At that price, the company would raise $480 million. Travelport plans to use the proceeds to reduce its debt. The company is trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol TVPT. By 11:30 a.m. EDT, it was trading at $16.89.
