Barry Sternlicht’s 1 Hotels Plans Expansion

Eco-friendly 1 Hotels has three hotels in the pipeline – including its first international properties – in Silicon Valley, CA; Haitang Bay, China; and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Opening in 2018, 1 Hotel Haitang Bay will feature 280 guestrooms and suites, a signature organic spa, a fitness center and swimming pool, 15,000 square feet of restaurants and lounges, and more than 6,000 square feet of catering and meeting rooms. An onsite farm will provide fruits and vegetables.

1 Hotel & Homes Cabo is slated to open in fall 2019. The hotel will have 115 rooms and 50 homes, four swimming pools, an organic spa, fitness facilities, two restaurants, a juice bar, a rooftop bar and more than 6,000-square feet of conference and events space.

Located near Google’s Mountainview campus in Silicon Valley, 1 Hotel Sunnyvale will open in late 2019. It will have 332 guestrooms, more than 10,000 square feet of food and beverage space, a spa and fitness center, and 19,000 square feet of meeting space. It will join the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, opening this month, and the 1 Hotel Central Park and 1 Hotel & Homes South Beach.
