Drive a BMW or gaze at Times Square through floor-to-ceiling windows in new properties opening this week.
Located in downtown Miami, the 124-room luxury SLS Brickell offers dining options from two James Beard award-winning chefs, rooftop pool deck, fitness center and spa. Its concierge service provides guests with 24/7 access to dinner, golf and theater reservations, as well as access to a BMW-7 series house car available for transport within a three-mile radius.
The Hyatt Centric Times Square New York opened in the heart of Manhattan with 487 loft-like guest rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the city’s skyline. The lifestyle hotel collaborates with experiential brands such as on-demand vacation photography service Flytographer, and artisan restaurant-and-retail market TurnStyle. By the first quarter of 2017, the soon-to-be-announced food and beverage concept on the ground floor and design enhancements to the rooftop lounge, Bar 54, will be completed.
Westin Hotels & Resorts, a Marriott International brand, made its debut in Egypt’s capital. The 135-room Westin Cairo Golf Resort & Spa offers an outdoor heated pool and three dining options, including a pool bar, golf club bar and all-day Mediterranean restaurant. The property is home to a 27-hole championship golf course designed by world-renowned golfers Nick Faldo and Brian Curley, and a 10,000-square-foot spa with 10 therapy rooms and two couple suites as well as a high-tech steam room, rain shower and sauna.
The Westin Cairo Golf Resort & Spa
The JW Marriott Hotel Chengdu in the capital of southwestern China’s Sichuan province is now welcoming guests. The luxury hotel’s design draws inspiration from traditional Chinese motifs and has a signature Cantonese restaurant serving authentic Cantonese cuisine with Sichuan flavors. The five-star property also has three additional dining options, as well as 345 rooms, an indoor heated swimming pool, fitness center and Grand Ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows that can host up to 800 people.
NH Hotel Group celebrated the debut of its upper-upscale brand NH Collection in Latin America with the NH Collection Mexico City Reforma. The refurbished and rebranded 306-room property now has a heated outdoor pool, a terrace, a full-service fitness center, and 10 meeting and event rooms. Dining options include the Obvio restaurant, which serves Mexican cuisine fused with international flavors, a breakfast buffet, and circular hotel bar, Bar 155.
