Tour operator AdventureWomen will celebrate its 45th anniversary in 2027 with two members of its leadership team joining guests on two very different adventures. Co-owner Judi Wineland will travel on the company’s new 18-day Southeast Asia by private plane journey, while president Paige Davis takes on the Portuguese Camino.
The two departures showcase the range of AdventureWomen experiences — from high-end, multi-country exploration to an active journey built around walking, discovery, and accomplishment.
Southeast Asia by Private Plane
Wineland, who acquired AdventureWomen with her daughters in 2016, join the Nov. 1–18, 2027, inaugural Exclusive Southeast Asia: A Grand Journey Through Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia & Thailand by Private Plane.
(Wineland launched Overseas Adventure Travel in 1978, then later launched Thomson Safaris.)
Traveling across five countries by private charter, the journey will take Wineland and guests from Singapore to Sumatra and Bali, then on to Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand.
“Southeast Asia brings together so many places that travelers dream about experiencing even once in a lifetime — and here we have the opportunity to experience several of them on one remarkable journey,” said Wineland. “Traveling by private plane allows us to spend less time navigating the logistics and more time absorbing these magnificent destinations, their cultures and the company of the women traveling with us. To me, that is AdventureWomen at its best.”

The Portuguese Camino
Davis will join the nine-day Camino: Hiking the Portuguese Way in Spain, departing Sept. 6, 2027, from Porto, Portugal, to Santiago de Compostela, Spain. The journey combines days on the trail with cultural experiences along the route, culminating in the arrival at Santiago de Compostela.
“The Camino asks you to experience a destination differently — at walking pace, paying attention to the landscape, the communities along the way and the people beside you,” said Davis.
