In Memorium: TravelOnly Founder Patrick Luciani
by Daniel McCarthyPatrick Luciani, the founder of Canada’s TravelOnly travel company, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday night, according to a post by TravelOnly.
“It is with great sadness and much love that we mourn the loss of Patrick Luciani who passed away unexpectedly Sunday night.
“He will be fondly remembered as a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who made an indelible mark on the travel industry with his passion, energy and love for others,” TravelOnly wrote on its social media.
Luciani started TravelOnly in 1974 under the name Luciani World Travel (it would become TravelOnly in 2000 when it launched its home-based agency model). Since it was founded, the company has continued to be family owned and operated and has grown to have over 600 agents across Canada.
