Jeff Clarke Named Unique Vacations CEO After Tammy Gonzalez Retires

Jeff Clarke will takeover for longtime CEO Tammy Gonzalez.
Longtime chief executive of Unique Vacations Inc. (UVI), an affiliate Sandals Resorts International, Tammy Gonzalez has announced her retirement after 25 years with the company.
Veteran travel executive, Jeff Clarke, has been named as her successor effective April 14, 2020. He joined Unique Vacations in 2016 as chief operating officer.
“Since the very beginning, Tammy has been the backbone of Unique Vacations. I will always be grateful for her insight and dedication and wish her well as she steps into this next chapter of her life,” said Sandals Resorts International Chairman, Gordon “Butch” Stewart. “It is also my sincere pleasure to congratulate Jeff Clarke, who I have known for years and who I know is well-qualified to lead UVI into the future,” he continued.
UVI fulfills sales, marketing, public relations, creative services and web initiatives for Sandals and Beaches Resorts.
Prior to his work with UVI, Clarke served as president of tour operator Travel Impressions, which was a division of Apple Leisure Group. He also held executive positions at Celebrity Cruises and Royal Caribbean International for more than a decade.
