Holland America Line's 2025 European season will offer longer itineraries (ranging from seven to 42 days) and more than 60 overnight or late-night departures giving cruisers the opportunity to become better immersed in the destinations they're visiting.

Ports visited span the entire continent including the Baltic, British Isles, Canary Islands, French and Spanish Rivieras, the Mediterranean, Scandinavia, and even Israel, Iceland, and Greenland.

"For Holland America, Europe 2025 is all about longer cruises, extended time in port and offering the most diverse range of itineraries from weeklong vacations to month-long explorations," said Beth Bodensteiner, chief commercial officer of Holland America.

Overnight and late-evening departures
Of the 62 overnight and late-evening departures, 11 will be overnight stays. Ports that guests will be able to explore on these overnights are Alexandra, Egypt; Barcelona, Haifa, Israel; Istanbul; Newhaven (Edinburgh); Reykjavik; Piraeus (Athens) and Rhodes, Greece; Stockholm; Trieste (Venice); and Valletta, Malta.

The 32 late-evening departures (scheduled for between 10 p.m. and midnight) will be available in 13 countries. Examples include Alesund, Norway; Ashdod (Jerusalem) and Haifa, Israel; Barcelona and Malaga, Spain; Cannes, France; Dubrovnik and Korcula, Croatia; Funchal, Madeira; Kotor, Montenegro; Liverpool and Portland, England; Corfu and Mykonos, Greece; Tallinn, Estonia; and Warnemunde (Berlin), Germany.

New in 2025
New in 2025, Holland America has moved its main Netherlands homeport from Amsterdam to Rotterdam, with both Rotterdam and Nieuw Statendam departing on roundtrip voyages to Northern Europe and the Baltic. Other homeports for the season will include Amsterdam (one sailing only), Barcelona, Civitavecchia (Rome), Trieste (Venice), Dover (London), Piraeus (Athens), and Reykjavik.

Also new is a 28-day "Arctic Circle Crossing" Legendary Journey, departing June 29, roundtrip from Rotterdam. The sailing features 15 ports in Greenland (including four maiden calls), Iceland, Norway, Scotland, and England, and passes through the Arctic Circle to the North Cape.

For a limited time, travel advisors can offer their clients the chance to book with a Have It All premium package and be upgraded to included prepaid gratuities, an Elite Beverage Package (versus Signature Beverage package), and Premium Wi-Fi (versus Surf Wi-Fi).
