Accor Targets Millennials With New Brand
by Jessica Montevago /Accor is launching a Millennial-focused brand called Jo & Joe – a hybrid of “private-rental, hostel and hotel formats.”
The French-company plans to open 50 Jo & Joe properties by 2020. The properties will be located in city centers, including Paris, Warsaw, Budapest and Rio de Janeiro, and situated close to public transportation and less than 15 minutes from major points of interest.
Jo & Joe will feature communal areas, including a kitchen, bar and laundry area. Guests can stay either in hotel rooms or hostel-style shared rooms.
